New exciting beers from To Øl

Yes, it does come in a brown paper bag!

To Øl Brown Paper Bag...$7.99 / 375ml
From the brewer:
“Let get this straight – being hobo doesn’t mean you don’t enjoy the zesty, fruity, piney, green pleasures of potent hops once in a while. It doesn’t mean you can’t separate the wheat from the chaff. It doesn’t mean you can’t be a total beer maniac.

Too long the lager yeast has been synonym with boozy malt liquor or obnoxious lagers, but the lager yeast is actually perfect clean canvas for showcasing the beauty and potent aromas of hops.

This is why To Øl now are presenting “Brown Paper Bag” an 8,5% Imperial Pilsner brewed with a solid amount of melanodin and caramel malts to give the pilsner yeast some backbone and to smoothen out the potent yet fruity Mosaic, Citra and Amarillo hops.

And for all of you beer geek hobos – we pre-packed this sucker for you!”

To Øl I've Seen Bigger than Yours...$8.99 / 375ml
Rated 95/100 RateBeer

To Øl Sleep Over Coffee IIPA...$5.49 / 11.2oz
Rated 95/100 RateBeer
One of two sequels to the Mikkeller/To Øl collab “Overall IIPA”. The same beer but with tons of nice nutty aromatic espresso coffee. This is hybrid beer if ever seen one. The combination of fruits and citrus from the hops and the round coffee aromas plus the warmth of the alcohol makes this a clash of a IIPA, Black IPA, American strong and Barley Wine. Cheers.

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, flaked oats, Hops (Simcoe, Centennial, Amarillo), coffee and yeast.

To Øl Black Maria Black IPA/Stout...$11.99 / 750ml
Rated 97/100 RateBeer
Black Maria is an American inspired Black IPA. It is black as a stout and hoppy as an IPA. The beer has been brewed with a good amount of highly roasted Carafa Malts, but with a relatively low amount of caramel and chocolate malts. This way we get the burned bitter and delicate chocolate notes in the beers, that goes well with the bitter and fruity aromas of the hops. The lack of caramel and chocolate results in less residual sweetness that you normally pick up from an Stout. For the hops we wanted some hops that could stand up against the Carafa malts. Therefore we used a mix of Columbus, Centennial, Galaxy and Cascade for the hop profile.
Words from our label designer Kasper about the label:
The label shows the inner yard of the Copenhagen Police Yard folded out on 4 pictures with a quote and a name merged together. The shitty tree on the neck-wrap stands in contrast to the main labels monumental expression. The police is as fake as the quality of the wood. The label is dedicated to police commander Bjarne.

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, flaked oats , hops, laktose and yeast
8,1% ABV

To Øl Sur Mosaic...$11.99 / 750ml
