To achieve this beautiful, faint-yellow spirit Reissdorf Kolsch ale has been distilled and matured in oak barrels that were preivously used to age Bourbon Whisky. Bitterwood, tannic notes from the oak barrels are pleasantly balanced by the malt sweetness from the distilled ale.
