"Rick & Lory Ankiel host Stray Rescue’s coolest pet adoption day of the year on the parking lot of the Wine & Cheese Place in Clayton. Tents will provide shade to people and pets, plenty of games and treats for the kids." -- St. Louis Stray Rescue

Stray Rescue is providing a tent for the day for the pets and will have a combination of items for sale like Stray Rescue apparel and merchandise( t-shirts, ball caps, Randy Grim's book), Rick Ankiel autographed baseballs, etc. I am told there will be snow cones and a possibly a clown for the kids.

Plus of course we will have Rick Ankiel's Autographed wine available for sale inside the store.

Don’t Dump the Dog: Outrageous Stories and Simple Solutions to Your Worst Dog Behavior Problems (Coming August 1,2009)
by Randy Grim
"Randy’s humor comes out in his newest, soon to be released book that chronicles all the reasons why an animal is turned into a shelter. Randy offers his practical solution as well as that of an animal behaviorist for reasons commonly offered by people include - not having time for the dogs, having a baby, too big, too old, destructive, too playful, going on vacation, the holiday season, doesn't like my boy/girl friend, barking, unable to be housebroken, sheds too much, eats poop, digs holes, doesn't like the kitty and more. Not one to give up on a dog, Randy tells everyone why they shouldn’t either.Limited edition special hardback available too!" -- St. Louis Stray Rescue
