Hopefully arriving on Friday (1/13/09) also...
Benton's Smoky Mountain Bacon
We have been trying for six months to get more, they promised us January of 2009, but looks like February is the lucky month. They finally told us they are shipping us 48lbs this week.
This bacon is smoked the old fashioned way for two days. It is in such demand that Alan Benton says he turns down about 5,000 orders a month.
Their bacon has been featured in Gourmet Magazine, Saveur Magazine, and Southern Living Magazine. "This is, hands down, the best bacon I've ever tasted...." -- Southern Living Magazine
I will post tomorrow when it arrives.
